Admissions to universities in the UAE take place in two sessions, either the
winter semester, i.e. Dec-Jan, or the spring semester, i.e. Feb-Mar.
Step 2
Applications
All graduate applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee rangingfrom AED 200 – 600.
Step 3
Exams and Tests
Proof of English language skills - Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL):TOEFL ITP (score of 550), or TOEFL IBT (score of 79), or International EnglishLanguage Testing System (IELTS Academic version)
(score of 6), if available at thetime of submitting the application. Only one of the tests is required.
Step 4
Education Certificates
Original equivalency letter from the UAE Ministry of Education for certificates issued from outside the UAE.
This can be obtained after the applicant’s arrival in the UAE as they will be given a period of one registered semester in which to submit the letter.
Proof of 12 years of schooling and a bachelor’s degree needs to be attested by the Ministry of Higher Education.
Step 5
Accommodations
If accommodation is required, the housing form and the medical form will need to befilled in and forwarded. They will be attached to the admission offer.
