Application Process

  • Step 1
    Eligibility Check
    • The first and foremost step is to check whether you meet the qualification criteria for the university you’re applying to.
    • Different countries, universities and courses have different qualification criteria (including the recognition awarded to a limited number of Indian universities and colleges), English language and financial requirements, etc.
    • Most universities charge a fee to review your application and not all applications are successful. Experts at Bloom Abroad Consulting Services (VSACS) can help you choose from three to five universities, where you have the best chance of succeeding.

  • Step 2
    Documents
    • It takes time to compile all the documents required, from your 10th and 12th marks cards all the way to graduation.
    • Then you will need to prove your language skills and take tests such as the IELTS, PTE, TOEFL, etc.
    • Keep your SOP (Statement of Purpose) and LOR (Letter of Recommendations) prepared and polished.
    • Silly errors and mistakes can cost you opportunities.
    • Have a look at the services that we offer and we’ll make sure nothing is missing from your document check-list.
  • Step 3
    Apply Apply Apply
    • Once you have your documents sorted, apply, apply, apply!
    • With an average cost of £80 to £160 per application, most college and university courses start in the autumn, but some also offer a spring start.
    • So choosing your term start will affect the course choices available to you.
    • The average time taken to prepare an application is four to six weeks and then you’ll have to meet deadlines from Jan to April.
    • Our counsellors work closely with the universities and are aware of the smallest details. We’ll make sure your application STANDS-OUT from thousands of others who have applied.

  • Step 4
    Visa Process
    • Usually, the earliest you can apply for a visa is six months before you start your course.
    • And, you’ll get a decision on your visa within three to six weeks.
    • Bear in mind this also depends on the local pandemic situation.
    • You usually pay £348, as of Jan 2022, to apply for a student visa from outside the UK.
  • Step 5
    Post-study Work
    • Often referred to as a ‘Post-Study Work visa’ in India, the new graduate route will launch for the 2020/21 academic year and later intakes of students to university.
    • Almost 22,000 student visas were granted to Indian nationals in 2019 – a 42% increase on the previous year and almost 100% higher than the year ending June 2016.
